Ambassador Program

Are you a running diehard that can’t help but “spread the word” about your love of running to your Tribe?  Then we want to hear from you!  We are looking for 5 more people to join our existing Ambassador Team for our 2023 season.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: SUNDAY, APRIL 2ND AT MIDNIGHT

All will be notified by end of the first week of April on the newest NFIM Ambassador Team Members

Here’s what we are looking for:

  • You are a passionate runner and prolific social media user
    (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Blog etc. etc.) AND/OR group run organizer (hey…we’re not all social media diehards, we get that)
  • You are an upbeat, positive person that looks for the positive in all situations
  • You inspire and encourage others to run or walk and enter races
  • You are supportive of other’s race goals, even if they don’t match your own
  • You may be on the serious performance side of running OR a back-of-the-packer, doesn’t matter!
  • You can appreciate the humourous side of running, after all, life is about fun!
  • You engage others either on social media, messenger or other group chat platforms or FACE to FACE (i.e. the “old school” way of communicating)

Here’s what we are asking of you:

Social Media Diehards:

  • Minimum 1 post/week on your social media channels promoting NFIM using hashtags #NFIM, #RUNNIAGARA, #NIAGARAFALLS and please tag us!
  • Post race, we want to see a few heart-felt posts about your experiences during race weekend
  • Remain a positive voice for runners & NFIM
  • You share the NFIM registration discount code monthly with your Tribe

Run Group Organizers/Promoters:

      • You share the NFIM registration discount code monthly with your Tribe
      • You encourage your group to share the registration discount code with their family/friends
      • You talk up aspects of the race that you LOVED from the last time you ran NFIM
      • You pass along NFIM’s website, FB, IG, Twitter links

Here’s what we have to offer:

    • Free race entry into either the Marathon, Half, 10k or 5k
      (Already registered? We can give you either a free race entry for a friend or refund your registration fee)
    • Customized NFIM Ambassador swag
    • Promo codes for discounted registration for your tribe (aka: friends, family, social media pals)
