Imagine not being able to afford proper running shoes and putting up with it because this is your only option!
We want to change that by outfitting young people in Niagara with proper fitting running shoes! Whether they run or play other sports - or just be kids in the GREAT outdoors, we want to help young people in Niagara GET and STAY active!
GETTING STUDENTS IN NEED FITTED
We work with various local agencies, including Project SHARE, Community Care and the District School Board of Niagara's Education Foundation to identify children in need of a pair of running shoes. Depending on the Agency we work with, children either make a visit to a local shoe store to be outfitted, or we bring a selection of shoes to our Agency partners for a fitting.
Number Fitted to Date: 28!
HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE

We pool the donations and every dollar goes directly to buying a pair of running shoes for a school-aged young person in Niagara
BUSINESSES & ORGANIZATIONS IN NIAGARA
BACK TO SCHOOL "MINI FEET" SPONSORSHIP
How mini feet will you outfit?
School starts back up in early September which means agencies in Niagara will have a TON of children needing running shoes for gym class (literally hundreds!). This is THE busiest time of year to outfit children and here's how your work place or organization can help:
- Decide on a goal - how many children does your work place or organization want to sponsor in the Challenge? The cost to outfit one child with a pair of new running shoes is $60. 100% of your donations go towards the purchase of a new pair of running shoes
- Assign one person to be in charge of the sponsorship program & collecting donations
- Register your company HERE to become an official participating sponsor
- Collect donations in your work place & submit by August 31st to the Niagara Falls International Marathon
Fittings are from mid-August to mid-September at agencies throughout Niagara. Seeing your contribution at work is key. We will share with you the highlights of this AMAZING initiative so you can see how you impact our "Mini Feet" of Niagara!
